# clsAcknowledgeManager

`clsAcknowledgeManager` backs the WCB/DCBS acknowledgment screen: it retrieves the list of pending acknowledgments and saves updates to them. It is one of the `LegalNet\` subfolder managers and, like all Legal AppManagers, inherits `LegalManagerBase` (this library) → `ClaimAppManager` (`SAIF.Application.Claim`).

## Purpose
- Retrieve the list of WCB/DCBS acknowledgments requiring action for the current case context.
- Save updates made to acknowledgment records from the maintenance screen.

## Behavioral notes
- As with other Legal AppManagers, retrieval runs behind `LegalManagerBase.OnRetrieve()`'s claim-visibility gate before acknowledgment data is exposed to the caller ([Business rules](../../business-rules.md))*.

## Constraints and usage notes
- This manager is scoped to the acknowledgment workflow only; it does not expose the broader case-note or schedule maintenance operations found in sibling managers**.
